Call Your Senators to Oppose the Nomination
In 2016, Mitch McConnell insisted that the people had a right to be heard in the Fall election before a new Supreme Court Justice could be appointed. We
think that what he said was good for 2016 should also be true for 2018. This means that we need to call our senators early and often to express our
concerns over the President’s nominee – Brett Kavanaugh – receiving a nomination hearing before the mid-term elections this November. And, while you're
at it, tell them to vote no on this extremely conservative nominee!
Not sure what to say? Here’s a script to use when you call. Please note that there are specific instructions here for whether your senator is a conservative Republican, a moderate Republican, or a Democrat. Feel free to follow the prompts in this script to get your message across succinctly and clearly!
